Have fun...I am wanting a new machine but don't really need one...so one minute I think I will save my money towards one and the next I wonder would I use it that much.

We won't hear much from you for a while....you will be playing wit your machine...I have an 8900 and love it.
Janome got rid of a lot of problems with the 7700 when they designed this one. I also have a 6600, which I did not trade in. great machine too! Have fun!
