I dont hide anything, when I married he just said dont bankrupt us and I handle all the money and still have left overs. So I am also one of the lucky ones. Some women got an allowance, they must have married a man to be their father because we dont allow each other to spend, we just do it reasonably and own a boat and a motorhome and just cameback from 4 months vacation, we are retired but we saved a lot while kids where growing up and going to college also. That is when we were really paying attention to how we spent and preferred saving and saving every penny and nickel and it worked out well, many times didn't go out to eat but took some of the money it would cost us and put it away. Never tried to keep up the neighbors and we feel we did it. = J

We agreed early in our marriage that honesty is the best policy. I am like an open book to my husband and he reads voraciously! He is such a sweet man that the whole world should have more like him, but they can't have mine! We have been together for over fifty-nine years, and we still love one another and respect one another. He takes good care of me and I do my best to be a good wife and appreciate him. No hiding anything.... I am so blessed~~~~~~ :)
