I don't hide anything from my husband either. Just last night I was telling him how so many QB members hide their fabric from their spouses.

He said he wonders what kind of marriage they have if they feel the need to keep secrets.

I agree - while I have brought in fabric and not told him about it and he makes fun of me because I will have him taking packages to mail and hes picking more up at the door!!! He doesnt really ask how much - I had a sale about a year ago and made enough to pay off my embroidery machine before I got charged interest on it so he was very happy. He buys what he wants for his tools and lawn mowers etc. I keep the books (he shows no interest in that at all - tried it once in case something would happen to me but he said he would figure it out then lol)

If I do sneak things in its mostly because I am a bit embarrassed that I am hoarding again lol not that he cares much.

How many of you DON'T have to hide your stash from your DH?
I don't hide anything from my DH either. He is also very indulgent and loves to make me happy. I blew over a $100 bucks in Goodwill while in the city last week and he hugged me because I looked so happy about all my purchases (I cleaned up there and found so many "new" items to spruce up the house with for the fall!) We are heading for Washington State next week in our RV and though I don't need a single thing for quilting or sewing, I have no doubt that he'll make sure we stop at several quilt shops along the way. God bless a good man!!

My sewing room is totally dismantled right now and DH is on his way to OSH to see about finding the perfect metric screw for a cabinet foot. Last night we went to the different stores looking for a new TV for the sewing room. "I just want you to be happy" was his answer when I asked him why he was being so pushy about getting it done. He is such a sweetheart.

Hiding stash? Only if it's a surprise for him.

My husband doesn't get the joy that I do from quilting, but he gets the joy from seeing me enjoying quilting. He said it makes him happy to see me occupied!

My husband is also very supportive. I know I would never have to hide anything from him.

if i had to hide my purchases from my dh, i would soon be hiding me from my dh and he wouldn't be so d.

dh and i have expensive hobbies and we spend what we want to and can at the time. no questions asked, no answers offered.
we'll soon be going to the new england quilt show in manchester, new hampshire and staying in the hotel that the show is in. he has things to do all lined up and we'll meet for dinner each night.
the last day, he'll join me and see the best of the quilts.

in return i go to fishing shows with him. boooooring. but i go.
