No hiding here. I agree trust and respect are part of our marriage. He shops with me sometimes, will even look for LQS when we travel. I shop with him at Menards, Home Depot, etc with him.

My husband also supports my passion for sewing & quilting. He goes to quilt shows, fabric stores, helps me chose fabrics, etc. I talk myself out of something & he insists I buy it, LOL.

I don't hide fabric from DH, it's a matter of respect and trust. I respect our budget and he trusts me!

Me... I do not hide anything... after all these years together... why? I got an early retirement at age 45 when I lost a very good 15 year job. We are farmers so I can always be used on the farm and did both work off the farm and farm for years... In fact, I put on my resume one time that "I could parallel park a grain truck", that of course was when they were small trucks not the semi's they use now. So he has been supportive of me all this time, I help with the farm and do some little off the farm jobs but not fulltime only in the area do not travel like I did with the other job. Very Happy not hiding anything from my prince..

Never hide my fabric. In fact I often purchase on line when I see great sales so my hubby gets the deliveries during the day. We both trust each other to understand what we can and cannot afford.

Of course, if he ever said anything about how much it costs to make a quilt I would kindly inquire about how much it costs him to catch fish (once you through in the boat, motor, dozens of fishing rods and oodles of tackle).

Mine is a King. In fact, that his his motto "It's good to be King". DH goes to quilt shows with me. He loves the big one here in Houston and the little quirky shops we find while traveling. I am blessed! I only hide gifts meant for him...lol.

No hideing for me, my DH has always said pay the bills first, then we can have fun. We are now retired and all bills are paid ,every month and on time, we consider saving $ every month one of our bills. So we both have fun, me sewing him fishing after 41 year, 3 kids, and 9 grands it has worked well for both of us.

Nah I don't hide it from my hubby. It would break my heart to find out that he was sneaking around and buying stuff purposely hiding it from me. He is my best friend and we do everything together when we aren't working. And so yes that includes buying fabric!

My husband supports my quilting/sewing. He takes me to all the quilt shops that I search out before we go out of town. He enjoys looking at all the quilts/projects in the shops. He's even signed me up for a class one time, and bought everything I needed for the class.

I agree with emerald46 - I only hide gifts meant for DH. And at that, sometimes they're hidden in plain sight.
