That is a good attitude! Collecting fabric is so much more fun than collecting stamps. If I were to use some of my plate block stamps, I would not have room on the envelope for the address. Now my fabric is always usable, if the color is a bit dated, I can still use it and call it retro or in some cases vintage. lol

My mother passed away on March 2 and since I am the sewer in the family I inherited her collection. My mother has fabric, books, videos and crafting supplies stashed EVERYWHERE!!! The past several years my sister and I would encourage her to go through everything and get it organized and thinned out so we wouldn't have to do it. She never got around to it.... I can now say I am glad she didn't. The memories!! Wow! Going through all of her stuff is going to take a lot of time but I am going to enjoy it.
