I'm not a fabriholic!

Last year I sorted through 20-50 year old scraps left over from my great aunt's dress and quilt making. They had been stored in an old shed in a box and were eaten up by insects, but I spent hours going through each scrap and salvaged what I could. Put it in a box with boric acid powder to kill bugs. Washed, dried, ironed and cut out any savable/usable piece. I was in heaven--thrilled to death to get it and tripping down memeory lane looking at the patterns. Have used it for applique and small quilted gifts for family. I hope that some day my stash will be as revered--someone, somewhere is bound to be happy to get it.
