Oh, sorry about the confusion. If I hadn't given up so quickly, nobody would've gotten confused. Things just got hectic for me. They don't seem to be slowing down much, but I, myself, have been feeling a little better.
I plan to do "something" later on...but I don't know how long "later" is....

I do have needles and knitting needles, crochet hooks, buttons or cards, zippers, etc. if anyone needs those types of things...NO YARN, no more plastic canvis. Just send me a PM if you are really interested in something I may have...I also have packs of 3 marking pencils in red, white, and blue...

Oh how wonderful for you! So many options available.
We have a quilt store the next town over and her quilt shop was along a busy road, however when the gas prices spiked her customer count fell and she went to only being open 2 days a week. Or by appointment for quilt quilds to hold meetings or give classes. She seems to be doing well with that schedule, it cut down her driving to work and overhead expenses, gave her more time and she is still doing something she loves.
I know you will make this work for you. Good luck for a happy life choice :D

CONGRATULATIONS! Looks like you're going to be quite busy for some time to come. GOOD LUCK with your new adventure.

What an amazing opportunity! That is just so awesome that hubby did that for you! I don't know about you, but I'd be playing more than selling! I'm so excited for you!

And you'll definitely have to let me know when you open so I can take advantage of that "board members discount!"

Congrats! *Does happy dance*

Like most members reading this thread I didn't realize it was started in April '07 instead of Feb this year...so it's a renewed thread from almost 2 years ago.

that is FANTASTIC!!

One of my former students sells fabrics and other sewing supplies from her home. She is also set up to be by appointment only and it is working out quite well for her. She has been doing this almost 2 years now. She is increasing her clients all the time. She doesn't sell on eBay, but I have mentioned it to her a few times. She also has this kick butt industrial embroidery machine and does custom orders from time to time too.

I haven't read this whole post yet (I am taking a very quick break here at work), but I'll read all of it tonight. I hope you do very well with it. Be sure to post us your eBay link so we get to see what you are selling!

Cheers
Andrea

I sold some of the stuff on eBay, then got busy with the kids....I've traded a lot of it off....I put the fabric in my stash. ;)

Takes a lot of time to run a business, doesn't it?
