    I think your Quilt looks wonderful and as it is your very first quilt you said I would keep it , and that way years from now you will have your first one to look back upon ..

    better a well-loved and loving dog than an ex-gf! I always quilt my bed quilts so I don't worry about dog paws, etc ruining it. They are so welcome to my quilts!

    btw, I really like the quilt and the colors.
