So it was a happy ending after all. You finished your first quilt and the dog loved it, she has good taste.

I hesitate to give any of my son's wives heirlooms or special things as I have done this now 4 times and each time, the marriage didn't stick and now all the ex's have china, silverware, jewelery and furniture from our family and I have no idea where it is....I even made quilts for 3 of them...oh well I guess it's just "stuff" and life goes on.

I love the quilt, but I think the puppy loves it more. The quilt is really pretty. Dogs have a 6th sense that people don't have. He knows what he likes and wants!!!

That is a wonderful quilt. The precious pup knew you made it with love so she wanted to still keep it in "the family" by claiming it as hers. Had you already made your dog her own special quilt? Or did she just get tired of waiting, saw a great opportunity and seized this bright happy quilt as her own? Sounds like she a smart one!!
