    Another option would be embroidered quilt squares. I plan on digitizing about a dozen different celtic designs in a week or two. Send me an email, perhaps I can help you out.

    I have two books on celtic quilt designs and both suggest bias applique. One of the authors swears by a product called bondaweb, a fusible webbing. I have yet to take the plunge and try it out but I hope to someday as the knotwork is beautiful!
