I just ordered my fabric from www.thousandsofbolts.com. Now I'll be watching the mail like a hawk!

I got my fabric today and hope to get it washed tonight so I can start on my cneter. I plan on using Eleanor Burns' Log Cabin Christms Wreath. I won't put on the bow or holly berries until I get it back. I have always wanted to have a Christmasey quilt and this will make it special as being made with the Round Robin group.

I just thought it would add more bulk for shipping.

Hi there, well I will explain as best I can to you. We have 6 people in our group. each makes a square, any type of project you like paper pieced applique, what ever you feel happy with. You send that block to the next person on your list who puts a border on it and then it goes from there to the next person. and on it goes. So you have 6 blocks being passed round all getting borders on from another person. eventually you end up with your own middle block with all the borders on making you a beautiful quilt. Hope that explains it.

This is just my opinion, but I would go ahead and do your bows and berries. It would be difficult to add when the quilt is 90 inches. Im sure the postage wont be increased too much.

I wouldn't worry about the postage.

If you are worried about it being handled and folded and smashed in the mail maybe is better to add them at the end.

The extra bulk at the end will make it harder to work with.

    Decisions, decisions.

Ok, here's what I'm doing for my center block.
I've just got it Magic Taped down, so I can move it around to where I need to have it.
It will be set on point.
    What ya think????

Terri, I love it, gorgeous. Good idea that, taping it to get the effect.

Are those the colours you are going to have? Oooops I looked again and those are the fabrics, it looked so perfect I thought it was paper.
