Introducing you to my guild...
Hello dear quilting friends... well, in my guild this year I've been put in charge of "Inspiration"... One of the first things I knew I wanted to do was to introduce my guild to You! ...to the Quilting Board! You have helped me numerous times, often in short order when I really needed answers quickly!! And last year, when I gave a program to my study group on quilting, I told you about it and you responded with lovely "hellos!" from all over the world!! They were so impressed!!
So... tonight I'm introducing them to You! I would love to read your welcoming remarks...or at least a few... I can hardly wait to tell them about everything you have to offer... And quite frankly, as I was making a list of everything there is here, I realized I need to do more reading on the Quilting Board!! There are categories I've never researched!!
So that's it... can you help me? I love each and every one of you!! Thank you and Happy Quilting!!!

Welcome, from KY. There is a wealth of information here and someone can almost always give you an answer to your question, or help w/your dilemma. Sometimes just using the search option gives you all you need and more. And the pictures section will have your list of "to do's" doubled or tripled in no time. Happy quilting!

Welcome from Wichita Falls,Texas. This is the best place. All you have to do is post a question and you have instant answers. When I started quilting 7 years ago, I found myself changing a rotary blade (for the first time) in the middle of the night. My question was "Do you wipe the oil off of the blade before putting the it in the cutter?" I had several answers immediately.

Welcome from Florida...where we have many, many quilters! You will find the Quilting Board is a great resource...for inspiration, instruction, friendship, pattern links, quick tips that make projects easier, and much more. And you may enjoy the swaps/round robins or block of the month sections that provide you a way to make things for yourself or others in an interactive environment.
