Introduction
Hi everyone! I've been following along on Quiltingboard for several months and decided it was time to join and introduce myself! I have been quilting for 35 years and am working diligently to use up a stash that accumulated over all those years. I love scrap quilts more than any other, so the work is a pleasure. I also belong to a group that does charity quilting, and love the encouragement I receive there. I recently began glue basting my quilts and wow, so much easier than crawling around on the floor with ageing knees, trying to thread baste! I look forward to sharing with you all and learning from you.

Welcome! I'll wave from a safe personal space near Seattle.
I am also a mostly stash and donation quilter at this stage. I remember the feeling last time I was on the floor when I realized that I could no longer just stand up -- I needed an exit plan!
Still haven't tried glue basting, mostly because I haven't been getting my tops quilted down and am still using left over spray for those I do. I have moved my work to table top height, and I cover my queen sized bed with brown kraft paper and use that as my largest work surface...
