    Your iris are beautiful. One of my favorite flowers. Ours are done blooming. I only have some lighter purple, an old variety, and some light yellow ones which I am not that fond of. Are your purple ones Siberian iris?

    If your iris did not bloom, chances are they need cut back after blooming and need divided. Easy to do. Just Google it and you will get loads of info.

    Beautiful!! Here in CA our irises have come and gone over a month ago. I am now waiting for my rebloomers to come in August.

    I have to agree with this. The rhizomes prefer air and light on their tops. I get crabgrass/nutgrass on top of mine, and they don't like it at all!

    beautiful Iris....my fav flower...Iris have come and gone here and daylilies have started blooming this week...was just in Louisville tonight and picked up some japanese iris and red pokers from a lady that listed them for free on craigslist
