I use these pens (Black mostly) for everything, and I absolutely love them. Some people have said they leave ghost marks but the only time I had this problem it was with a pink one, so I only use the black.

    wellphooey (love your screen name!),

I like your suggestion re: marking the markers. And I couldn't agree more about asking the manufacturers to do it themselves (print something on the outside of the pens telling us how to erase them)!

FWIW, nowhere does Nancy's Notions refer to their pens as "Frixion." I even watched to video to see if I could discern a brand name there. Nope.

There are soooo many different pens. Take the blue erasable......sooo many different manufacturers, so many different inks. Just because you have experience with one and its erasable solution, does not mean it works for another. Trust no one..... bah ha ha ha.......please test each pen on your fabric and determine a solution to remove that ink on that fabric. do this each time you change pens/ink/mfg/name or fabric. Ask me how I know. My tears are still not dry.

I use the Crayola Ultra Washable markers, tested them with ironing and they all washed out. Here's the thread with the test and results. Bear in mind this was on 100% cotton. If you're using other fibers, test first. 10 minutes worth of testing on a swatch of fabric is worth it, compared to ruining hours upon hours of work, not to mention the $$ invested in your fabrics.
