I have made the moda garden twist pattern , but would love to make one that is scaled down perhaps half size m if anyone knows where i can get exact pattern but smaller I would be a happy bunny , thanks in anticipation

Yes just smaller blocks , ive seen similar , but the blocks are different

Suggest you write "In The Beginning" company and ask Sharon Yenter the author of one of the books about smaller patterns of the design. Her book may have the size you need.

my origional blocks were approx 8 1/2 finished

I don't know the pattern ... though suspect you could downsize the pattern. Graph it out and then adjust your pieces accordingly to get to where you want to be.

Start with the design as finished blocks/pieces for measurements and then add on your 1/4" seam allowances.
