It is supposed to be windy, cold and snowy (just a couple inches, tho) here. Spending the weekend sewing sounds like a great thing...unfortunately, we are going to an early dinner and a basketball game tomorrow with DS and DIL and then on Sunday I am going to a baby shower for my niece (2 hours away). I will be one of those people asking "where did the weekend go?" on Monday morning. Very happy for all of you that will be spending the weekend working on quilty projects! Enjoy!!!

Oh you made me think about my weekend that will extend into Wed of next week. My oldest is living with me because she has been out of work for 2 years now. I have three bedrooms, My son and grandson are occupying them. So my daughter has my living room where my Sewing machine is. So it has been hard for me to go down there and sew when ever I want. I do respect her privacy so my sewing has been limited. But she is going away for a job interview and will be gone from Sat to WEd. I will have all that time to sew when ever I want....early morning or late at night. YEAH. I am going to have so much fun.

Sounds better than my weekend of working the whole time. Enjoy the time you have. Seems you can't get breaks like that very often. See even the weather is cooperating with making you want to stay in and sew.

Boy, does that ring a bell. My sewing room is now my guest room, too. I love my guests but boy is it good to get the machine out again. . . and mine is also a Bernina.
Enjoy the wonderful, snowy weekend. It's snowing here in Lancaster, Pa but only on the grass (grin). . . but I'll still be home sewing.

Sounds like bliss! Nothing better than a weekend with the sewing machine.
