Good Morning! its 7:30am here. I have been surfing the board, drinking my coffee and getting ready to bind my King quilt. I quilted it yeasterday on my Jamone 7700 and it was very easy to my surprise. I keep puttin it off...so glad my husband encouraged me to finish it...I woke up and he had laid out the backing, batting and top...I just had to spray bast it. Then he helped me bring it to the sewing machine...LOL...he really wants this finished....he has been wanting one for our bed since i have started to quilt. I used all 1/3 tumbler pieces/scraps and fabric my friend had given me. She had a box of fabric from the Chicago fabric shop. For the back I used 10 inch square blocks. All I have left to do is bind...oh I only did straight line sewing using the accufeed foot, worked great, no issues and fast...I will take a picture and post.

I think it needs a border problem is what colour as the quilt is so full of lovely colours already. Love the quilt and pattern.

I'm working on a wings over paradise panel that I put some sashing on yesterday. I did cheat a bit yesterday & started quilting it, but I am hoping to have the bulk of it done today. I'm doing a free motion on it, outlining feathers, branches, leaves, flowers....
The quilt will go up for raffle in a few weeks or so to a not for profit group that helps out birds who are given up as well as from seizures who are in desperate need of medical attention.

HI everyone! I will be joining you ladies today. I was supposed to go to a 3-day retreat in PA last Friday but ended up with a stomach bug and had to stay home I spent most of Friday and Saturday in bed resting but started feeling better last night so today I want to work on one of the projects that I had packed to take to retreat. Maybe I will get at least something done at home this way!

Hello everyone! I have starched all my fabric and put it in plastic bags in the freezer. When I get home from early church, I'll iron my fabric and start cutting out my quilt of dark green (for St. Patrick's Day) and cream. Until time to leave for church, I am working on an appliqué block. It would be wonderful if I could finish that today also. Best wishes to all of you. I hope you accomplish your goals.
