I love Janome machines, but I hate those quarter inch feet with the blades. Like you, I learned to guage my 1/4 inch on an old Pfaff foot and I never could adjust to the Janome quarter inchers. So I bought a Babylock 1/4 inch foot(ESG-QF) for fifteen bucks and it works like a dream on my Janome. Of course, it doesn't work with the dual feed, but I'm OK with that.

i like mine..6600 also. i took off the bar on one foot, and left the bar on the other foot..(have 2 machines, the platinum, and i bought 2 ,1/4" feet)

i want the O2 foot too..i have the little clear foot, and i do like it..but with the O2, it has a wider back end for the wider set apart feed dogs..so it should work better.

i also have 2 seperate setting for the accufeed and the regular 1/4" foot.

I got my 1st Janome in 1997 & my 6600P in 2006, so I've been using the 1/4" foot for a very long time. I love it, but I do have to adjust the needle position on the 6600P to get it correct. The older one is perfect. About the dual-feed 1/4" foot - I really have to move the needle waaaay over. I found the "fence" to be quite long, so I got my Dremel tool out & cut that leg down to like the regular 1/4" foot. Now I really like it.

I love my Janome metal 1/4 inch foot. It has truly improved my 1/4 in seams, which needed it. Once I got used to it, I couldn't live without it.

I have the Janome 11000 and really love the 1/4 inch foot with the little metal guide on the side. Funny how we all can have such different likes and dislikes isn't it?

Ask your dealer about it...boy it made a world of difference...no longer frustrated and doing the happy dance :-D
Thanks for this advice. Going to check it out as well.

I use mine every day. It keeps in line and I can sew faster. I love my Janome!
