Default Janome 7700....... New to me.

I posted a thread a couple of days ago as I am the owner of a 6600 and I had the opportunity of buying the Horizon 7700 and wanted advice.....well I did it.....I went and bought it. The previous owner had traded it in for an embroidery/sewing machine. It is in immaculate condition but is missing the table which I will get from Janome.

So what do I think of it...well it is a totally different machine from the 6600 which is also a lovely machine and I now appreciate why they are hard to compare.

I have only had the machine since Monday so am still learning but it appears to be an excellent machine.
    The FmQ is really smooth.
    Stitch quality is very good
Lighting excellent and the machine is so quiet.
Love the O2 quarter inch foot
Time will tell how good it is once I start sewing a large quilt.......but it is lovely having a new machine even if it second hand.......and the price was a steal.
    I am a happy bunny tonight !

Congratulations!! I also have a Janome MC 6600P. However, I've been drooling over the Horizon MC 12000 - but right now way beyond my budget.

Congratulations, you won't be sorry. Did you have the Acufeed 1/4 foot for the 6600? If not, I would get it. I almost use it exclusively, but sure takes care of going over the bulky stuff.

Sounds like it is a great machine. I have seen lots of people post on here that they have one. Be proud that you now have two great machine. A good price for it makes it even better. Enjoy your new to you machine. I sure would not pass it up.

Hi!! So I'm totally bummed. Bought my 7700 today. Took a 2 hour class at the dealer. Brought it home, and after playing around with the functions, lettering, I managed to break the APC plate. Ooooh I'm so mad at myself.
