Question Janome embroidery machine

I'm thinking about in the future purchasing a janome embroidery machine but I have no clue which one? I'd like it to be able to have patterns I can download off the internet ect. I was hoping I could get some feed back thx in advance

I have a Janome 11000SE and love it. I don't even think I'd trade up if I had the opportunity. I use my USB stick to transfer designs from the computer to the machine.

I'd go with the 11000SE as well, I traded mine in for the 15000 and wish I hadn't, it's too much machine for me. You can get some pretty good prices for a good used 11000SE now that the 12000 and 15000 are out.

I didn't want a combination sewing/embroidery machine, so I bought the Janome 350E embroidery-only machine. I have had it for more than 3 years; use it a lot; and have never had a minute's problem with it. I would not be happy with a machine that only had the small hoop--the large hoop on this machine is 5x7, which is big enough for what I want. It is very easy to get patterns off the internet for the machine, and it's an easy machine to use. If you have any questions, you can PM me, or ask them here. Happy Hunting!

I agree with the Janome 11000SE. I love mine. There are so many designs to down load. Have fun.

I also have the 350e and love it! I've had it for about five years and really enjoy using it. Mine came with a nice CD of designs besides the built-in designs, and I've also downloaded a number of free designs from the Janome site and others that have come in handy. Just pop them on the included USB drive and plug it in to the machine. My friend bought one a year ago and we were just chatting about how many gifts she's made with it in the past year. She monograms everything!

I also did not want a combo machine because some designs do take quite a while to stitch out. I guess it would depend on how often you sew and if this would be your only sewing machine.

Whatever you get, enjoy it!

I had the 350E it was a good little machine, but I wanted more & got a used 10,000SE that the shop upgraded to a 11.000 with the Accufil for 250.00 more. I love it, even though it is a combo machine, I only use it for embroidery. I have 3 other friends that have this same machine, stictly use it for embroidery & love it!

The machine I have Janome 10,001 is on Craigslist. Com/Birmingham Al . She is asking $900 I don't know her but did email her to let her know if anyone wanted a reference on this machine have them email me. I have had mine abt 9 yrs or so never had any problems. I love it, and it is so easy to use and to learn to use.
