While cleaning out the attic, I came across a box of old acid washed & bleach decorated jeans that at one time I was able to fit into. I don't even remember putting them there. So my question is would they look okay in a Jean quilt? Would the acid washed fabric date it too much? DD's said to just throw them all out, that the acid washed jeans look tacky. DH suggested I go with a 80's theam and use 80's looking fabric with it. But I can't really remember what 80's fabric looked like. Any suggestions?

Acid wash jeans works great as your 'light' in the quilt.

Notice the acid wash in my raggy jean jacket. I made the jacket, just over a year ago.

Tell your daughter to go listen to her Y2K rap music while you proudly stitch your acid wash high waist tapered leg jeans into a cool quilt! I LOVE THE 80's!!! How about your 80's t-shirts on one side, jeans on the other?

The jeans would look fine in a quilt. I made one with red bandana fabric once.
