    That is a cute (and easy) pattern.

    Since the pattern is for 3" wide strips, easy enough to convert and use Jelly Rolls (cut background fabric into 2.5 inch strips also), and then cut the squares into 5 inches (instead of 5.5).

    I would also probably put a border around it, just so the edges wouldn't be on the bias.

    Agree ... a cute pattern
    However ... if using 2-1/2" strips, the square cuts would be 4-1/2".


    Peckish ... you did a great job with it as a scrappy!

    Here's one top I made using the MSQC tutorial of "Amazing Jelly Roll Quilt" pattern by the 3 Dudes. It was my first time using a precut jelly roll (a gift from a relative) and the pattern was actually easy and fun to put together. I call my quilt "Bizz Buzz."
