Default Jf bom

Has anyone ever done one. I was at a JF the other day and found in the clearance section all 12 months at 3.97 each, finishing package at 19.97, and even the binding....clearanced, so bought the package...I guess this was last years..who cares.......I did one about 6/7 yrs ago and it worked well....dd still has it and uses it.....so this one will be fun...all precut pieces, just put together......break from my hexies and cathedral window attempt!

I am guessing this is a Joann Fabric block of the month? I have never done one but the prices you describe are great! You got a bargain!

JF=JoAnn Fabrics
BOM=Block Of the 'Month

I the quilt fabric of the store there is a display of the current BOM...I think about $5-6 ea. block, BUT every JF has hidden somewhere in the store a CLEARANCE section....everything and anything is tossed there....including what's left of last season's BOM.....may not have blocks 1-12 and finishing pack, but prices are better.......friend did one last year...not all blocks there, so she doubled up on some of them...no finish pack, so she found similar fabs and did her own....that's what prompted me, and in was lucky enough to find all.....could even do tablerunner with just a few.....

I think a lot of ebay sellers must hit the clearance for the BOM's, because there always seems to be a ton on there...handy to remember if you're missing a block or 2!

I bought several on Ebay. They were really cheap but most of them were the same block. It is a churn dash but I bought them any way.
