SO cool, hope to see a posting. I visited a cousin who had surf boards and a Woodie on her showercurtain and I called the bathroom, Margaritaville! Just had a beach/tropical feel. Can't wait to see your quilt. Lucky Dad.

So I've got the margarita, the lost shaker of salt, and the woman to blame! And of course the parrots, palm trees - and I think I want to get some "water" fabric.
Problem is - I have to tell the "story" on the front of the pillow. And I have no idea what pattern I'm going to use.
Or what I'm going to use for the blanket part. I bought a beautiful batik for 50% off that I was thinking of .......

Actually, I have do have a collection of fabrics intended just for a Buffett quilt...tropical prints, a flip-flop fabric, a fabric with cheeseburgers, clocks (it is 5 o'clock somewhere!), salt and pepper shakers, fabric with drinks on them (I hope one of them is a margarita!), guitars. It's just in a holding pattern along with other planned quilts.
