Default Join me for Virtual Quilt Weekend this weekend

Today is the first day of Virtual Quilt Weekend. Since it's a long weekend for many, I'm planning this one to go Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I hope you can join us for part or all of it. If you haven't participated in a VQW before, it's simple. Just join us here on this thread and let us know what you're working on, what your goals are. And we love pictures!

I have four quilts sandwiched, ready to be quilted. I hope quilt to finish completely three of them. The fourth I'll be hand binding so that one will take me a little longer. Also, there are two tops that need borders, would like to have them ready for quilting. And last, I have an embroidery design I need to copy onto fabric. I have pretty ambitious plans, hopefully I'll get it all done!

So, I'm off to the sewing room and will check in throughout the day.

I'll join you. I'm working on a hibiscus block and a hummingbird block for BOM that I'm following online. The flower block is nearly done. I'll post it a little later.

here is a Doctor Who block that I finished last night for a different quilt along.

Hi,

I'll join in. I'm working on finishing up a string quilt with a scalloped edge. I'm just completed the tying of the quilt sandwich and I'm getting ready to do the binding. If I fail at binding that scalloped edge, I may just lop off the scallops and have a "scallopless" creation. Good luck with everyone and their projects. I'll post pictures later of my quilt. I hope to see what others are doing.

I'm in. We have snow and roads not plowed. I'm working on a quilt for a gift. If I want to do something else, I'll pick one of my UFOs.

I am working on a flower garden quilt that my niece started for her girls . The fabric is out of stash she had left from their clothes when they were little. Sadly she was terminally ill with throat cancer and was unable to finish. Hoping to finish it this weekend .
