Paper piecing takes me forever. I spent several hours sewing and this is all I have to show for it.

I sewed all day today, but don't feel like I got much accomplished. I had to re-make 3 blocks for this quilt, so that's probably the cause. And I did get about 1/2 the sashings attached, although that's not shown in this picture. I really want to finish this part of the top before the weekend, because I'm going to a retreat and plan to work on the borders while I'm there.

Tomorrow is a holiday here (and it is supposed to rain), so I hope to continue my "virtual quilt weekend" for another day.

Entire D9P top pieced. I wish I had the fabric for the backing, so I could get it sandwiched tonight...Guess that will be for tomorrow...Feel very accomplished this weekend..Thanks so much for the company! Hoping I can get my phone camera working again to post a picture of the top! The DD I am making it for loved it...

finished the main part of baby quilt, went to put borders on and realized the fabric was completely wrong for the rest of the blocks. Made a speed run for fabric, now need to pre-wash it in case it shrinks since the rest of the fabric was prewashed. Guess I'm at a standstill till tomorrow.

No pics, but got done what I set out to do! Blanket finished for my military reservist at work and baby top quilted and binding sewn - just needs to be turned and I'm done!! Yay - thanks for the motivation!

I said I had four blocks done for another quilt but then I finished another one so now I have five. I'm posting what I've done so far. Just 7 more to go. It's a Cozy Quilt Shop pattern called Sassy Squares. My daughter requested it. I love VQD - I always get so much done!

Krista, what's the pattern you're using? I love your blocks!
