.....stuff can you look at? Thats what the DH just asked me during a commercial break from Steelers football. Well honey how much football can one man watch in one week?! He's been home since tuesday and thats almost all thats been on that darn idiot box that I never turn on. So to answer his question...Football time=quilting time. Sounds reasonable to me. At least I can take a break from my quilting to enjoy his football. (for one quarter)...LOL. I love my honey and he loves his football. GO STEELERS!

I would have to find another room to quilt in if the idiot box had football on it all of the time.

I must admit that I LOVE football -- college football most of all! I have been known to quilt and watch football at the same time. I don't have to keep my eyes glued to the TV to enjoy the game. That's what the rewind key is for, isn't it?? If I miss a fantastic play, I can simply rewind and catch what I missed. Simple!

This Steeler game is driving me crazy. Hope they win. Cheering under my newly finished Steeler quilt.

I love football and I love quilting. They get almost equal time.

Mine asked me once MANY MANY years ago: "How many sewing machines does a woman need in a life time?" Mr. I have a drill and a saw for every occasion really regretted having uttered those words. Since then he has come over to my side.

I on the other hand have to clamp it sometimes coz Pat is a hobby astronomer. Seen the big dipper - don't need to see it again. Groan. lol

I remember seeing that quilt, honey would be jealous. I've been working on a large applique steelers quilt. Making my own logos. Has been a chore.

It doesnt bother me, I dont watch tv. I've went weeks at a time and never even turn the dumb thing on. My kids and my honey insist sometimes that I watch so to make them happy i do. However once in a blue moon I do enjoy a good movie as long as it doesnt make me cry.

DH says that my quilting is cheating. "its supposed to be done by hand" Is that right? He changed his mind when I told him I would be glad to put his air compressor and fancy tools on craigslist so he could do it the right way. And we could sell his truck and buy horse so he could ride to work the right way. No picking and choosing the rules here!
