This quilt is a pocket. (Not my idea) a kit.

You have a good idea going. Make it work for you.

I made a Picnic/Beach jeans quilt for my daughter and put a pocket in one of the corners (actually more a hidden zipper
compartment) Put it in a striped square and it disappeared, or blended in, just perfectly. Fake quilted the front part before I added the pocket. Perfect for keeping keys, I.D., etc. Don't know if she remembers there is a pocket there or not, though.

Oh I have a jean quilt like this one! First it was my college bedspread, later after getting married, 3 kids played on it before learning to walk, then traveled to many picnics and ball games over the years. Everyone loved the pockets!

I made a couple T-shirt quilts and put a long pocket on the front for a cell phone or TV remote. Much appreciated.

A customer outlived her entire family and asked what I would do with her family quilt if she gave it to me. I told her I would make a label for it, show it off at my guild and hang it on a quilt rack in the place where I do fittings for my business so everyone could see it. She gave me pictures of the 3 ladies who made it, wrote down the history of it and I have shown it off since 2006. I also took it to the South Dakota quilt documentation and it was one of 100 chosen to be in the book they are publishing. Bette would be so surprised!!

I'm making Memory Quilts for 2 of my grandkids from their Daddy's shirts. I am putting a pocket from the shirts on the backs of the quilts with a label saying "The Pocket" is full of their Daddy's Love for them.
