Our younger son had a speech impediment when he was young. We were on a vacation and he was getting impatient to eat (about 3 at the time.) I kept saying we will be in Cedar Rapids soon. He would look out the window, and say "I don't Cedar Rapids." Finally in an aha moment, I understood him to say, "I don't see the rabbits." Apparently his hearing had impacted his speech as well. Never do I see the sign for Cedar Rapids that my mind doesn't go back to that day.
