I agree, it's blah. Definitely, prefer at least a different shade of green. It takes away from the pattern

I just looked at the kits online, and - hate to tell you this - but there are lots of quilt kits in those colors. Maybe the powers that be have decided those are the "in" colors for the next year.

I love the olive and eggplant colors, they are very in. The blue no so much, but I think it is still a beautiful quilt!

I remember many years ago, hearing an "expert" saying how the new colors were going to be desert tones or some such thing.

I kept making quilts in colonial blues and roses and they kept on selling.

I LOVE purple and green together! But that green is a little odd for my taste. Also, looking at it makes me dizzy! LOL

I have purple all over my house...I am the Purple Quilter after all! :)

I have to say, I like the colors!!!! Would rather see them in person tho! Good thing colorways are a way to individualize our quilts!!!!

I think the olive is a bit too dark, I wish it was more of a sage green. However, I'm not a big fan of blue, and I think that bothers me more than the olive.

It's also a fairly busy quilt!

Okay, I'm going to be really critical and I hope it doesn't get me in trouble. I keep looking at that quilt, and I don't think it's really the colors that bother me. I feel like the dark outer borders completely overpower the quilt's center, both in size and value. And the thin dark inner border doesn't look like it belongs. Do you think it was added just to make the other measurements work out right? The beautiful center star is lost, because it is so light compared to the rest of the quilt. There are some beautiful elements to the quilt, but when put together there's just too much going on. (I hope that didn't sound like the quilt police.)

Might be pretty in oranges/rusts, yellows, and brown/tans.
