Thanks for taking the time to share such a lovely story. Makes us all feel warm and fuzzy to think that young man was so appreciative and will have something to comfort him for life. Thank you for all the work that went into it too.

I gifted one of my first quilts. I gave it to a 17 yr. old boy we have know all his life. He is in foster care and comes to my home when he visit is nanny. Him and my son are the same age. I did not expect the reaction he had when i got home from work and he had already opened his gift from us. He just grab me and gave me the biggest hug. All he could say is this took a really all time to make and that he will cherish it. It just made me all :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D on the inside. The label I even gifted to him.
