Default Kaffe Fassett Fabric

Does anyone have experience with Kaffe Fassett fabrics having excessive bleed? Or is the bleeding low?

I’ve made just one quilt with Kaffe fabric. I did not prewash the fat quarters and have washed the quilt several times no bleeding. It’s very high quality fabric. I enjoy that quilt very much. Make something beautiful and don’t worry.

I've never had an issue.
If you're worried, you can always test the fabric first. Dampen a white cotton kitchen towel, then rub it on the fabric you think may run. Rub it good, let the fabric get wet. Check the towel - if there's color on it, you have a bleeder. If the towel is just wet, you're good.

Thanks for the info! I'll do the bleeding test.

I used them only once, and I prewashed, but there was no dye in the wash water. Very high quality fabrics. I love them.
