Boy, they must be starting over with numbers. I have had my Bernina 1530 which was the top of the line in the 90s, only having to replace the bobbin case because I used CAN AIR to clean out the dust bunnies! I would suggest you wait and see how the reviews come out for this machine.

I've had my 790 for about 3 months now and all I can say at this point is that I'm in love with my Bernina
It started off the first few weeks with a couple little hiccups that an update took care of......after that initial startup it has been a dream, I owned a 780 (which I also loved) before this one and the 790 so far is quieter, smoother, less vibration when I'm embroidering and just overall worth the upgrade from my 780!

I am wondering how your 790 is doing? I have a 780 and love it but I know that the 790 has a stitch designer and possibly better stitch quality. Have you any opinions on this after using the 790 and the 780? Seems like there is always a glitch when we get our new machines. Thanks so much. I am trying to decide if the upgrade from 780 to 790 is worth it.

Hairsolorer, welcome to QB. This is a rather old post. Have you checked with a nearby dealer or https://www.bernina.com/en-US/Machin...RNINA-790-PRO?
