HoP's price is actually 1.99 per UNIT for 2 or more units...and since a unit is a half yard, the price per yard is 3.98 for 1 or more yards, not 2. :D

Well, I have to be the desenting vote here. I don't like Kona cotton. I have used it when I had nothing else that matched the quilt, but it is scratchy to me. I want my quilts to be soft and cuddly and Kona never gets that way. It is the red in my avatar quilt. Wish it wasn't, though.

Kas, have you tried Moda Bella Solids? They are broadcloth, like the Kona Solids, but they have a softer hand and a bit of a sheen to them. You might like them better. Not quite as many colors, but only slightly more expensive.

I have used Kona cotton solids . I found they were not consistant on the softness of the fabric. I have some colors that is nice and soft and other colors that are not so. I buy mine at Hancock Fabrics when they are 50% off....makes it $2.98 a yard.

I don't know if I have tried the Moda Bella or not. I do love the marbles. Well, heck. I love all Moda fabric because it is soft. I will look for them next time I need a solid.

Love Kona. I use "winter" white a lot. Hard to explain the subtle difference between that and "white". I love Kona because the quality is consistant.

I love to visit Fabric Depot when I am on the way to see the grandchildren in WA. The best part for me: NO sales tax in Oregon. Love it.

Love the weight and feel of Kona Cotton. I have used white, snow, black. Great results every time!
