kudos to craftsy
I have enrolled in several Craftsy classes and have enjoyed and learned from most of them. Recently I bought a kit to make placemats. Sorting out the fabrics I discovered that instead of 3 strips of one color and 2 of another, I received 5 of one and none of the other. It was only 5" of fabric so I wasn't too bothered as I have a quilt shop nearby but I did notify Craftsy of the mistake. I got an immediate reply from them. Craftsy is not only sending me the 2 strips they offered me a free class - any class they offer. When I went on the site, indeed, every class was marked free and all I had to do was pick one. That's service over and above what most companies offer.

That's good to remember. I have taken a class and bought several patterns from them. It's good they have such great customer service. It makes a difference.
I had bought fabric from one store and when I checked out it said free ship but when I looked at my bank statement they had taken shipping out (the invoice showed it too). I tried to contact them with the problem (after all you think they would want to fix their website!!!) no reply back. I haven't bought anything from them since.

I love Craftsy. I've taken several classes and purchased patterns, kits and fabric. They have great sales on fabric and classes. Right now I'm doing the free Block of the Month class with Jinny Beyer. I bought the kit since they had it on sale and it was put together quite nicely.

I too have bought many classes and received excellent customer service. Now when I want to learn a new skill that requires precise details and steps, I go to Craftsy to see what they offer. I'm learning to use my serger and coverstitch machines now and they offered two classes that were exactly what I needed. I live out in the country and not convenient to any classes, Cratsy makes learning easy and affordable for me.

I have been really impressed with craftsy. The classes that I have taken have all been really well done and the one time that I signed up for a class that wasn't what I had hoped that it would be they let me switch to a different one with no fuss.
I have only ordered one kit from them and I was really pleased to have it arrive so quickly and so well put together.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if more businesses were this good to deal with?

I have ordered many kits from Craftsy, taken many of the pay-for classes, and taken all their FREE mini classes in quilting. I have also contacted them, via email, many times on multiple issues, including missing fabric. I have received wondereful customer service and very prompt replies to my help requests. To be offered a free class is a great reward. If all you saw was free classes, you were on the Free Mini Classes screen. You need to look under Classes, which you can filter down to quilting. I am totally happy with Craftsy.com.
