Not sure how many bolts, but Fabric Depot in Portland, OR is "an acre and a half of fabric"!

    Thank you AgapeStitches,
I'm going to be in South Carolina in May and will find this place during our visit.

Mary Jo's is huge but it also carries other fabric. They have quilting (great selection), bridal, upholstery, and apparel fabric. It's like a candy store for people who sew.

Yes...went there, saw it, and I was totally amazed!!! HUGE quilting cottons section with thousands of bolts of everything you can imagine. I got to go when I flew into Charlotte NC to visit my daughter. It is really a wonderful store. They don't have nearly as much on their website as they do in the store.

Any idea what the name of this store is?
*Sounds like road trip fodder to me*

Ditto! Clothing, stuffed animals, home/car accessories, totes for boats/cars/animals/people. I just love the challenge of finding fun, new fabrics and seeing what I can make from them. Whenk I quit smoking 25+ years ago I took up sewing - this new habit is still cheaper then a pack of smokes in my opinion.
