The Fieldstone House in the middle of nowhere Upstate NY has 20,000 bolts. But it is all piled up and hard to shop.

I've been to most of the ones mentioned but I will have to get to M&L Fabrics in CA - the blog makes it look like a can't miss!

Does it still - the Fieldstone House? I thought I had heard it had sort of downsized.
We couldn't even move in that store. We did manage though;) but what a zoo! You could barely get through/over/under the bolts. When they vend at shows (I haven't seen them in a while as I'm not in the area often) they have more bolts than a lot of LQS's.

If they have downsized, they are hiding it well. I actually think it's worse. They used to have a tea room. Now that's full of fabric too.

I just looked them up on line and noticed that their fabric is very reasonable. What is the quality like?

    Thank-you,
    Judy

Since you've been to almost all of the shopes mentioned what's the best shop for quilt fabric in your opinion?

I think I'd be lost if I go in any of those stores. Would have to leave
my CC at home and have my eyes realigned. ;)

I have been there and the staff and selection of fabric is fantastic! They have wonderful on line service, too! I ordered from them several times and with every order you get a pleasant little surprise and the baby bolts are really nice!
