    Leah Day Quilt Along Wednesdays

Have you all seen Leah Day's new "Quilt Along Wednesdays" entry on her blog today? http://freemotionquilting.blogspot.com/ It sounds like a fun way to work on FMQing in 2012! I think I'll give it a try for awhile and see how it goes.

I am excited about the "Quilt Along Wednesdays", I need to find some new paths and get out of my free motion rut.
With quilters for friends, I will always be warm.

Thanks Wendy. Looks like it will be fun. I like her mantra... shut up and just do it!

I read this post last night & went over to Lisa's site & signed up for FMQ Wednesdays - then forgot to come back & tell you thanks for the heads up! As always I got carried away looking at her quilting designs & watching videos! She makes it look soooo easy...someday I'll be that good. Yeah, right! Anyway, thanks, Wendy!

I've signed up for a free motion class at the local quilt store next Tuesday. Will be great to also join in her project and practice, practice, practice.

Leah's first Wednesday quilt-a-long is up and I can't wait to get home this evening and give it a try. I've done some pretty complex FMQ'd feathers, but definitely have NOT mastered stippling yet myself, so this is the perfect place for me to start!

Thanks for the heads up. I have her beginner series of videos, and this would be a good way to keep learning.

OK, it's WEDNESDAY and the first quilt along is up. Has anyone done their 1/2 yard "Wiggle" yet?
