My DH just shakes his head when I tell him I am doing it again this year.
I'm going to keep a calendar for a DIFFERENT reason....to keep track of when, how long and WHO FOR........only to show my husband that I'm not sitting at the machine as often as he thinks I do, and when I do that it's NOT FOR ME!!! My New Years resolution is to get more organized so I may notate my improvements on the calendar also. Thanks for the calendar idea.

I love this idea! I'd bought our annual "kitchen calendar", but then my sis gave me a lovely calendar for my kitchen...she wrote she hoped I hadn't already bought one, but of course, I told her I love her gift... and I do... but I'd about decided to just toss the one I'd bought... Now I know what to do!! It's going into my sewing room and I'm going to follow your lead and mark the days I sew! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

That's pretty impressive! I do a lot of quilting but I don't work on it every day. Some days I just don't feel like quilting so I don't even go in the room.

Even 20 minutes if that is all I can manage in my sewing room makes a HUGE difference in my Attitude!!!!! It helps to keep me sane, jmho.

I think I will take your lead and mark off on the calendar, that might help me be more productive instead of just sitting and looking at the mess I made or watching Netflix, etc. {like getting caught up on QB for hours}.

What an interesting idea. I think I might take you up on keeping track. I might be surprised.

I sew, embroider or quilt every day...but mostly for customers. This past week I started a mystery quilt...I'm working on that tonight...hoping to get through all these 2" squares and have them be 3-1/2" four patches by the time I go to bed, lol.

I sew everyday and it is a reward for me. I just reward myself for anything. Didn't sew for a couple of weeks in September as I had fallen and broken my hip. I'm back at it again and going strong. I need to work on UFO's so maybe I could mark those down.

I guess I"m different. I don't sew everyday cause I like to do other things. Since I live in the South we have more outdoor time I guess. I like to go fishing, working in my vegetable garden, or flower garden too. I do keep a file of all my quilts by year that I"ve finished, but life is too short for me to keep track of time. Since I've retired, I don't want to keep track of anything. For 30 years I had to account for every minute while working, so no more of that stress. It is though an interesting thought to keep track of when I started and when I finished. I think that would be helpful to me.

I think it's a great idea. I have so many things I don't know where to start. I also need to organize so I can find my projects. If a calendar will help, I'm all for it.
