OK, I know you pointed it out and I sort of see it but honestly, YOU are the ONLY one who will EVER be bothered by it. The little recipient will be lucky to have such a cute quilt and he will drag it along someday not caring one bit which direction those monkeys face.
If you let it go, it will be a freeing experience, I promise. (Been in those perfect shoes and stubbed my toes plenty of times)

I was looking at it going "what? where's the mistake??" I was mainly looking at your blocks which unless someone looks really closely, no one is going to notice. I hope he enjoys it and remember, it's not a mistake, just an unconscious decision to change the quilt! and I like what Irene said, the monkeys were just being monkeys!

Reminds me of the tale they tell; quilters used to have a block (or something) different to what it should be... deliberately!!
Shows we can't always BE perfect, no matter how pernickety we try to be.
The quilt is lovely just the way it is :D
Only yourself (and now us on the QB) would notice it
Let it go!

Remember the saying about galloping horses!!! Sometimes I think everything handmade should contain a small boo boo - that is what makes it yours and it also enforces the handmade look. On that note when you buy things are they perfect? NO!
