I think the Lil Twister is designed to work easily with charm squares and the larger one is better at a layer cake, which makes them so much easier to use.

I saw two very small Twister templates at a LQS in Texas this winter. One was 1 1/2" and used 2 1/2" fabric squares; the other one was 2 1/4" and used 3 1/2" squares. Too small for me :). I'm sticking with my original Lil Twister that uses 5" squares.

Craftybear...google them and you'll find lots of stores that carry them. They're really cool!

The two smaller sizes are by a different company - Primative Gatherings. The first one is called Primative Pinwheels (the template is 2 1/4" and uses 3 1/2" squares). The second one is called Itty Bitty Primitive Pinwheels (the template is 1 1/2" and uses 2 1/2" squares). I don't recall where I purchased mine but here is an address and web site for Primitive Gatherings:

Primative Gatherings
850 Racine St.
Menasha, WI 54952
Phone: 920-722-7233

www.primitivegatherings.us

Oh, yes, the price I paid was $13.99 and $10.99.

I just googled for the templates and the first place I found them was: http://www.redroosterquilts.com/shop...ern-with-tool/
