    Default Patterns available

You can order the CD of patterns for Little Brown Bird from the publisher (can't remember who, and I'm at work). It's $9.99. No instructions, but just patterns. However, it's more than worth it. The patterns fit on one 8.5 x 11.5 page. They're small! Had to ask a friend who has the book about that.

Will try and do photos. Hoping that I can take some from my book that look okay. Will be faster. I just figured out how to forward an e-mail to a group--technically challenged, but will give it a go.

I started one several years age but got side tracked because of the Broderie Purse applique, maybe I will go back to it again using just applique and hand embroidery on it. Maybe this is what I need to get motivated again.

I definately want to get the CD since I have a very hard time tracing and printing the pattern off on fabric is so much easier!

Where did you find the book and the CD. I would like to start it this winter.

For those of you that are so intimidated would you believe that this was like the first large quilt this woman did. She used broidery purse applique, that is where you find elements in fabric then cut those designs out, then applique. Also she used pigma pens for the small line embellishments. Her story is quit interesting and it was someone else that actually drafted the patterns for the book.

Gorgeous quilt! I think it would be an interesting one to make, but have no idea as to where to find a decent priced book.
Boy, what a fun journey that quilt could be!
