I love doing the Log Cabin. They work well in my country style home. My first quilts were log cabins and I am still using them.

To me this is much less confusing than working round and round the same block.
I'm also using Judy Martin's method and really enjoying making my first log cabin quilt. I'm doing 6 blocks at one time.

I love the scrappy ones the best, and what I call "contolled" scrappy:)

Yes I agree Barnbum florals are to "drool" for... some day...

I've made two log cabins before and while I think they're beautiful, fast and easy does not describe the process for me. :-)

Well lots for the Log Cabin, and even one against.
I have the fabric cut for nine squares, but am to
    nervous about putting it together.
    Any suggestions ?

Yes, just hop in and get with it, the pain only lasts for a moment, then the joy sets in.
