Beautiful looks very similar to the one my mother made my school clothes on while growing up.

It is a Singer model 66 and appears to be in good cosmetic condition. Although it is a heavier machine, it is a real workhorse. My DH is presently rebuilding one and is always amazed at the precision to which these machines were built.
The machine he is working on appears to have never been oiled and shows a lot of use but very little wear. They are also very easy to maintain. A little oil now and again and it should last another generation or two. You will love it. If you are just straight stitching, you will love this machine. Congrats on a great purchase.

Shes pretty and the Golds not worn at all needs a little work on the foot pedal wires, Came with the cool buttonholer (never mine I have 3 lol) and that you can't sneak a machine in with your stach :!:  (hes retired) Thanks 4 look'in 8-) Lori K. 8-)
What a Beauty! That looks just like my mother's old machine; but it is in a cabinet. I got a new motor, foot pedal, light, and cords for $50 for it and it runs like new.
