1. Do you love it now? Then I would really up the "WOW" factor even more with some "modern" quilting (a la Judi Madsen)

I, too remember the original post and LOVE the final results! I agree with Leta's suggestion if you are up for a contemporary look - something Judi Madsen style would be spectacular!

Beautiful, the blocks look like they are floating. I would have never thought of appliqueing the black strips. They really add dimension to your quilt. Amazing job.
