Did you know award winning quilters live in Conway and close by? Irma Gail Hatcher and Jaynette Huff just to name a few. Eddie from the board has a LA quilting business and lives close by. Quest Quilt Guild is in LR and Arkansas Quilt Guild is in NLR. Lots of very talented quilters and LA in this area. Pinwheels quilt shop has a LA you can rent and learn how to use it yourself. Central Arkansas is a thriving quilting area.

You are so sweet to answer me and give the exact information I was hunting for. I had looked for quilt guilds and could not locate any. I have never heard of the ladies listed or Eddie. I will try harder to find them. I've been here for 9 years and couldn't even locate a local quilt shop. Thank you again!

Eddie is listed in Benton and I am in Bryant. I am trying to figure out a good way to learn to long arm. I have a very reasonable person in my husband's hometown to do my quilts...for now! I realize she is going to quit me one day and I dread it so I'm looking to learn how to long arm my quilts myself. HOPE you found someone in Conway. My gal is in Harrison so I go through Conway to take my quilts to her. Good luck!
