Default Looking for a high loft black batting

I cannot find any black batting at my LQS here is Australia so I will need to order one sight unseen. I was hoping that someone might be able to recommend one.
I have been working on an Affairs of the Heart applique http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t201992.html and I after all the work I have put in I do not want to risk a white batting. I would like a black batting with some loft so that when I quilt it, it will make my applique really stand out.
If anyone knows of a good black batting and also where it is available, I would really appreciate it.
Also any tips on quilting and applique quilt would also be appreciated, as this one is going to be a monster

Could you dye a white batting? It would be cheaper after adding postage to the ost.

I don't think I would like to try and dye a batting, I think I would just make a mess of it.
Can you get a nice high loft batting in the quilters dream poly? The one's I have used have been nice and thick and warm but I haven't found a nice puffy one.
Wool would be fantastic but I can't seam to find a black version anywhere.
Thanks for your help everyone, any and all suggestions welcome. I really want to make this quilt special, so I wan't to get the batting right too.

I have just ordered Quilters Dream black batting from Fabrics.com. It is poly but at the end of the day it is still better than DIY solution. Go to the manufacturer's website. I am not sure if they have it in high loft. If not, use cotton batting with layer of black poly batting on top. It will give you nice definition and make your hunt for batting so much easier. Also, you can look into wool batting. I just do not know if they will have it in black. Good luck!
