    Hi Jill ~ I used this idea but did them without binding. They were so much fun to make! They don't look nearly as finished as yours but I used scrappy fabrics so it works :thumbup:

    All pics beautiful!! But eewww! don't like the birthing term! I've always known it as an envelope finish-gonna stick with that!

    Homespun - that is mine :) I was the person who was looking for ideas and those are my finished project.

    I love to use Jill's method though I sometimes sew on an angle. I think you you add a a 3/4 inch or thereabout border around it and even if you do birthing method it would look as if it were bound.
