Go to J Hittle Sewing, I saw this item this morning and after your saying how you miss yours, I ordered one.

No, they don't fall off. Your thumb more or less holds it in place.
All the suggestions given are appreciated, but many I have tried and nothing works quite the same. Guess I am one of those old dogs that don't do well with change!

Try using a disposable vinyl glove. I like them a lot

Thanks cheryl222. I like the concept and may try a pair. (Change is hard and the older we get, the harder it is....HeeHee!)

I bought a glove at Wal-Mart (Pet Department) to collect dog hair shedding off of the dog. They work great, they're washable and clean up perfectly for using the next time you need it! JMHO

Perfect timing with these suggestions! I am finishing up a quilt top for my nephew and his fiancé's wedding and I got super frustrated trying to get the threads off. It is a braid and bar quilt so lots of seams.

I can't wait to try some of these ideas tomorrow!
